february 9, 2010 : play kitchen project

nikole from a happy nest made her daughter the most amazing play kitchen-from scratch! i am just soo amazed at this and wish i had the motivation to do a huge project like this. {she used some fabric from craft vintage under the sink!}

after seeing this i think i need to master a jigsaw. my dream is to make lucy a playhouse but i fear this is way over my head. in the mean time, i shared this little idea of mine to nikole and she's been sending me some great photos of hand built houses for tots and they blow my mind. perhaps i'll do a bit more looking and share them here so i can look at them and ponder.
