a world away

Now the house is too quiet and Henry is enjoying the blow-up mattress left from cousin nino and family. It was nice to finally be able to play hostess to them, after the countless times they've played host to us in Colorado. Back to the beach this evening, where adam's parents, aunt & uncle have been staying (thanks to very gracious friends.)
This was the view for most of the weekend. A mere 15 minutes from our house, but what seemed like a world away (as adam pointed out.) We spent most of our time sitting on the front patio chatting, gazing at the ocean and watching the people walk by.
