I'm so proud! These are my first pillows...EVER! I didn't even make the optional home-ec animal pillow, i opted for drafting and woodshop or something instead. {sis...didn't you make a shark pillow?} These are currently resting downstairs on the little love seat. soon, some of them will go upstairs...but of course...only the favorites will be curated to go into the future nursery.
I also finished one gift quilt, which I will post tomorrow and love! I also pieced together the rest of the quilt tops, but have yet to actually quilt/bind them up. it gets a bit tricky trying to quilt when you're sewing machine doesn't have a walking foot, but I made the best of it and no major snafus so far.
The rest of the weekend was great...rather leisurely {except for adam who cut one of our trees into firewood}...the only plans we made were to meet up with some friends who recently moved to Seattle. We spent Sunday morning visiting with them {Bill & Barb} at Bill's mom's house over delicious eggs, bacon, bagels, fruit...i love a brunch and a visit!
