I'm so proud! These are my first pillows...EVER! I didn't even make the optional home-ec animal pillow, i opted for drafting and woodshop or something instead. {sis...didn't you make a shark pillow?} These are currently resting downstairs on the little love seat. soon, some of them will go upstairs...but of course...only the favorites will be curated to go into the future nursery.I also finished one gift quilt, which I will post tomorrow and love! I also pieced together the rest of the quilt tops, but have yet to actually quilt/bind them up. it gets a bit tricky trying to quilt when you're sewing machine doesn't have a walking foot, but I made the best of it and no major snafus so far.
The rest of the weekend was great...rather leisurely {except for adam who cut one of our trees into firewood}...the only plans we made were to meet up with some friends who recently moved to Seattle. We spent Sunday morning visiting with them {Bill & Barb} at Bill's mom's house over delicious eggs, bacon, bagels, fruit...i love a brunch and a visit!
