it's official...

i quit my job of almost 10 years and am now, officially, a stay-at-home mom. i mean, really, can you blame me?

of course, this means i am busier than ever. at work, i had time to read blogs and stay updated on all of the star gossip {sooo important, i know.} but these were the things i did during the downtime, or the lunches i so often took at my desk. i'm not finding so much time for these things now. i mean, i didn't even know salma hayek was pregnant until, like 2 week ago. :) of course, this is not such a bad thing.

i am slowly finding the time to do my own thing while lucy naps...i've been working on posy press again, as well as doing a bit of freelance work already. but i'm taking it easy too...lots of walks, visiting friends, taking time to make our backyard garden into some sort of garden {instead of the dust bowl it has become}, planting flowers for the front patio {note to self....buy potting soil before those suckers die in their store bought containers!!!}

soon i should have the store re-updated with many new stationery designs, as well as hand-bound books and fun paper goods. ahhh, it will feel good to have it up and running again. the store update should be all set for next week, but if you can't wait that long....come visit me at the XL Felt Club Summer Event this sunday. I can't say enough about this event...it is so well planned and organized and fun, if i didn't have my own table their i would easily choose to be there all day looking at all the talented crafter/artists booths and hoping to win the amazing raffle prizes that are donated. It's so easy to walk away feeling quite inspired by all the peeps there.
...and of course, if you do get the chance to go, please stop by and say hello. i always enjoy seeing new faces!
