dear martha-
i try to resist your oh so perfect nature. i thought it was really funny when you were in jail. i try hard not to buy your magazines whenever possible. {ahem, this of course went out the window during wedding planning a few years ago when it was an absolute necessity to have EVERY SINGLE ISSUE of martha stewart weddings throughout the year-and-a-half engagement.} {and of course, being an invitation designer, it really became a necessity that i continue to have every issue, as research of course.} {and fine, i do buy the regular martha stewart living when the 'good things' section entices me.} {i guess i also have a subscription to your Everyday Food, but that is also a necessity, as i need every bit of inspiration possible to get myself to cook.} But other than that, I really didn't care for you and your huge gigantically enormous and successful empire....
and then came blueprint, which gets better and better ... and i'll admit. i buy this one without even looking inside now.
but this is the kicker martha, i mean you've really done it. i have fallen hard for your papers and sticky-back ribbon tape stuff. i mean, how is a girl with an obsession to all things paper and decorative to resist. so, i'll just go ahead and say it, thanks for making these so that i may be able to cover my books and embellish their covers with your super cute new designs.

best regards,
amy

p.s. i'd appreciate it if you could stay out of the can for awhile to ensure that these stay in the stores and on your web site. maybe you could even come up with some new designs to keep you out of trouble for awhile.

p.s.s. Felt Club XL Summer Event, tomorrow. me and my books will be there. see you there?

haha, we don't have Martha over here in the UK (apart from in Borders) but we sure know about her recent adventures! Love these gorgeous journals, hope to see your shop open again soon...

It sounds to me like you should buy stock in Martha's company. You've bought into everything else...
